Swedish automotive brand, Polestar has officially announced that its all-electric roadster concept originally unveiled as the O2, will be going into production as the Polestar 6.
Expected to hit the market in 2026, the Polestar 6 will join the lineup as an expanded and remodeled take on the upcoming Polestar Precept which is also known as the Polestar 5.
The Polestar 6 roadster will utilize the same technology as its predecessor which features 800V architecture and a dual motor powertrain that delivers up to 884 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque, which will produce a 0-62 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.
Polestar has also announced that it will be building 500 Polestar 6 “LA Concept” editions that will feature the original concept’s “Sky” blue exterior, light leather interior, and the car’s 21-inch wheels. Pre-orders for the Polestar 6 are available today.
