In a matter of decades, what we know as gasoline-powered vehicles today, would be a thing of the past, and that is already very evident with the rate at which automakers are churning out stock EVs and new concepts.
MINI has already announced its plans to make all of its cars fully-electric by 2030, and now the British car brand is previewing a brand new all-electric crossover concept called Aceman.
The Aceman features a styling we’re already familiar with as it draws inspiration from the original MINI design released about 60 years ago with the brand’s nostalgic MINI Cooper characteristics. The concept also takes a somewhat minimalistic approach with cleaner lines and an all-new futuristic front-end with an illuminated surround that uses LED contour lighting that also serves as a daytime running light.
Interior-wise, a round OLED display takes the place of the signature central gauge and is powered by the latest generation of the MINI Operating System, which is now based on Android. The rest of the interior focuses on sustainability with leather-free trim that uses materials such as recycled polyester.
The MINI Aceman is expected to enter production in 2024 and will be joined by a full lineup of MINI EVs. Check out the photos above and the official unveiling video below, and stay tuned for more details.
