Earlier this year, Chevrolet revealed its plan to fully electrify the iconic Blazer; the American automaker has now officially unveiled the production model of the mid-size crossover SUV.
The all-new Blazer EV is offered in four different trims levels, with mileage ranging from 247 miles all the way up to 320 miles. At the top-of-the-range is the peformance-focused SS model, which boasts 290 miles of range, 22-inch wheels, and an all-wheel-drive system. The SS will also produce up to 557 hp and up to 648 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a 0-60 mph time of less than 4 seconds.
All trims of the Blazer EV feature a 11.5kW Level 2 onboard AC charging for recharging at home and 190kW fast charging which allows for the ability to get 78 miles of range in just 10 minutes when plugged into a DC fast charger.
Other features include a powered charge port door, a 17.7-inch touchscreen coupled with an 11-inch instrument cluster display, regenerative braking, optional Super Cruise hands-free driving, and a host of safety and driver assistance features from Chevrolet’s Safety Assist suite.
The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV 2LT and RS trims will hit dealerships in Summer 2023 while the SS model will be available in late 2023. The 1LT trim will be released in early 2024. Pricing starts from $44,995 USD and reservations are available now for $100 USD. Check out the video below.
