Aston Martin has just taken the wraps off the new Vantage Roadster shortly after unveiling the DBR22.
The new convertible variant luxury model is equipped with the British automaker’s 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which cranks out 690 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. This allows for a 0-60 mph time of just 3.5 seconds and a stellar top speed of 200 mph.
Other performance enhancements come in the form of standard Carbon Ceramic Brakes, a carbon clamshell hood, carbon front fenders, composite rear bumper and deck lid, carbon side sills, and lightweight 1mm stainless steel twin-exit exhausts.
For improved aerodynamic performance, a full-width front splitter has been engineered to increase downforce, while a larger, reshaped front grille helps to bring more airflow into the engine.
Pricing details are yet to be released for the new Aston Martin Vantage Roadster V12, but deliveries are expected to commence before the end of this year.
