Following the announcement of the 2022 Bronco Raptor a little over 3 weeks ago, Ford is coming through with yet another Bronco variant called the Everglades which is available for order this March.
The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades is based on the four-door Bronco and adds to the off-road capability of the SUV’s available Sasquatch package with the addition of a factory-installed snorkel and 10,000-pound Warn winch.
The Sasquatch package already include features like the 35-inch tires, a lifted suspension, front and rear locking differentials, and a shorter final drive ratio. The Everglades model adds mud-terrain tires mounted on 17-inch wheels and a factory-installed snorkel air-intake mounted to the A-pillar, in addition to marine-grade vinyl seats with washout flooring. The front and rear axles, transfer case, and transmission cooling vents have also been heightened to allow for a maximum of 36.4 inches of water fording depth, which is 2.9 inches higher than the regular Bronco Sasquatch.
The 2022 Bronco Everglades SUV is specially built for optimum off-road adventure and to conquer challenging terrains found in low-country swamps and off-the grid treks. The SUV is powered by the Ford Bronco’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo-four engine that churns out 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque on premium fuel while regular fuel produces 275 hp and 315 lb-ft of torque. Furthermore, the vehicle is a four-wheel drive powered through a 10-speed automatic, and this model boasts a 67.8:1 crawl ratio.
The 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades will be available exclusively for Bronco reservation holders, for a starting price of $54,495 USD. Check out the video below and the official photos above.
